Personal Injury

It is well-known in the medical profession that all the paraphernalia of modern medical practices exist simply to remove barriers to the body’s own rejuvenating strength. The healing processes may be helped by drugs, surgeries, and other interventions, but the healing itself is the domain of natural forces in the body, governed by our brain and nervous system. In light of this, I would like to introduce you to the benefits of chiropractic care in accident and personal injury cases.
Chiropractic focuses on the alignment and communication between the brain, the spine, and the nerves. In good health, there are paths of clear communication between the brain and the other organs via the nerves, but accidents and injuries can cause undue stress on the nerves and their ability to carry necessary information to and from the brain. Any pinching, stretching, or compression of nerves through a simple misalignment in the spine can affect the health of the organs and tissues to which those nerves run.
Chiropractic care can directly address the pain caused by accidents. The Chiropractic Center of Lakeland offers a variety of methods in bringing relief to the musculoskeletal system and damaged tissues. While our chiropractors correct spinal injuries and misalignments, our licensed massage therapists rehabilitate connecting muscles. We have state-of-the-art technology at our disposal for bulging or herniated discs (see the Axiom DRX 9000C Spinal Decompression Machine). We also have a variety of therapies (electric stimulation, cold laser, and doctors certified in the Graston technique) for effective restoration of injured tissues.
When you refer your clients to our office, please know that our staff will treat your clients with the same respect and attention that you do. After a thorough examination and careful analysis of x-rays and/or MRI reports, our doctors give every patient a personalized treatment plan with the exact structural correction techniques and therapies required to relieve their pain. Our policy is to rehabilitate personal injury patients to the same point of health they enjoyed prior to the accident. We will send you an initial report of our findings as well
as frequent reports on your client’s progress. When we have fully rehabilitated your client, we will send you a complete final report that includes information from our initial exam and all of our progress reports.
We look forward to the opportunity to serve you and your clients. Our staff members are pleased to answer any questions you may have. Kandy Johnson is our Personal Injury Liason and Billing Coordinator. Please call us at (863) 859-0335 or (863) 709-1600 to set up an appointment or meeting with our doctors.
